Block A Day Spa @ CityCenter
10-15-2008 - WFX is awarded the Block A Day Spa @ CityCenter by Perini Building Company. This project consists of 7 shotcrete spas, an outdoor terrace pool and 9 water features. The main water feature encompasses waterwalls, reflection pools, glowing glass cubes and Aji stones from Japan. The estimated completion date is Spring 2009. This will be our third project for Perini at CityCenter.


Caesars Forum Tower Penthouse Renovation
9-29-2008 - WFX completes the Caesars Forum Tower Penthouse Renovation project. The spas and interior water features have been completed. A big “Thank You” goes out to all of our subcontractors as well as the awarding General Contractor, Penta Building Group, for making this a successful project.


Tahiti Lazy River
9-19-2008 - WFX continues on the construction of the lazy river located at Tahiti Village in Las Vegas, NV. The lazy river consists of a large waterfall along with other water features designed to increase the enjoyment for all riders. Landaco, the hired landscape firm for this project, was forced to close their doors. As a result, WFX has brought Park West Landscaping on board to help finish the project which is scheduled to be completed later this year.


Casino Square Fountain @ CityCenter
9-16-2008 - WFX is awarded the Casino Square Fountain located at City Center by Perini Building Company. This is the second contract for WFX on this mammoth sized project – the first being the Mandarin Day Spa. The fountain consists of a half circle with approx 100’ of infinity edge. The basin will be manufactured out of stainless steel by Bradford Products. The bid packages continue to flow from this $11+ billion dollar project located on the strip just south of the Bellagio.


WFX Racing @ Chula Vista
9-6-2008 - WFX Racing finishes 6th at Chula Vista. Tim Pangborn, owner of Water FX, took 6th place in the single buggy class of the Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) series in Chula Vista, California. This finish helped to bump Tim to 8th place in the overall points standings in his first season of racing. John Fitzgerald who drives the Water FX Pro-Lite Truck had another disappointing weekend as the truck’s engine faltered prior to racing. His season has been full of mechanical failures. The next race is scheduled for October 25th & 26th in Primm, NV.


Fontainebleau Pool Deck
9-12-2008 - WFX installs the first of 8 pools and spas on the Fontainebleau project. The 17,000+ sq ft main pool is tentatively scheduled to begin arriving onsite in mid December of this year. The project is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2009.
